I have already made few books and t-shirts....FOR CAKE 2016

 I was honored to be asked to render pages... AND the cover for the CAKE anthology 2016. Deadline two weeks turned into a week...Final target size 8 inch by 10 inch....a folded over chap book with each page (Cover also) coming out to be eight inch by five inch...

Emailed approval for KEITH HERZIK screenprinted posters from early aughts TO be in upcoming EMPTY BOTTLE book.

Iuse faber castell pitt brush pens. Black ink on slick coted paper. After editing,praying,sweating,crying,screaming,here comes...lil dude reading a comic with a claw...and crowded drawing of puppies ...

 I am a "by hand " Kind of man. But back cover used a doggie drawing" sliced by photoshop.

FREE COMIC DAY CAKE ANTHOLOGY COVER

Scanned both sides....final step...turned line art into a600 dpi pdf file emailed to CAKE for the printer to deal with. Photo shop trickery attached the back cover. .(
Oh yeah...
Color one is on one side..of.Same little paper...
Color#two on other side . Had to use flip tool in Photoshop .or words would be mirrored....

To create separations of colors.I. didn't want any overlapping. Overprinting. None.butt registered 

Final product printed at spudnik,anyone knows who did it?let me know...
